Write / Preview / Split Mode

Move between raw markdown, a clean preview, and a side-by-side split, depending on what you're doing.

How to do it

  1. 1Open a document.
  2. 2Switch to Write mode to focus on your text.
  3. 3Switch to Split mode to see your text and the result side by side.
  4. 4Switch to Preview mode to read the final result.
Used for
  • Write fast in Write mode, then check the layout in Preview.
  • Spot formatting mistakes before you publish.
  • See your page the way your reader will.
  • Compare your raw text and the final result side by side.
  • Proofread in Preview, where typos stand out.
