Change Tone of Voice

Select a passage and have penFriend rewrite it in a different tone, from professional to casual to sarcastic.

How to do it

  1. 1Select the text whose tone you want to change.
  2. 2Click penFriend in the context toolbar.
  3. 3Select Tone of voice.
  4. 4Choose the tone you want.
  5. 5Accept the rewritten proposal.
  6. 6Your text now speaks in the new tone.

  • Turn a rough draft into something usable in seconds.
  • Retell a story in a new tone.
  • Soften a message that sounds too blunt.
  • Make a formal text sound more human.
  • Match one brand voice across a team.
